Supper Club: Wild and Foraged Food

A delicious supper foraged from the grounds of Ballymaloe and surrounding area. The evening begins at 7.30pm and includes a set 4 course meal for €45 per person. There will be wines recommended to suit each course. These, as well as wines from our cellar, will be available to buy. We are also offering a special Supper Club rate of €75 per person sharing, for accommodation on Tuesday night and a full Ballymaloe breakfast the following morning. Reservation is essential please call 021 4652531. Please advise us of any dietary requirements when making your reservation.

Ballymaloe Supper Club

To celebrate Ballymaloe’s 50th Birthday we will continue our very successful winter Supper Clubs with a series of Spring Supper Clubs. The Supper Club evenings start with an aperitif at 7.30pm followed by a 4 course set meal. Wines recommended to suit each dish, as well as wines from our wine cellar, will be available to buy.

The National Theatre’s stage production of War Horse

National Theatre Live presents The National Theatre’s original stage production of War Horse, broadcast live from London’s West End to a screen in Ballymaloe Grainstore. Can't get to Dublin to see the live production in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre? Don't have €55 to spend on a ticket? Then come see the live broadcast in the Grainstore for only €10. Since its first performance at the National Theatre in 2007, War Horse has become an international smash hit, capturing the imagination of four million people around the world.

Friday Night Hors d’oeuvres Buffet

Our head chef, Gillian, giving the Hors d’oeuvres (first course) buffet a final look over to make sure everything is as it should be before service begins. The Hors d’oeurves buffet has long been a Friday night tradition at Ballymaloe House. It offers diners an opportunity to taste a selection of seasonal salads, paté’s, terrines and the most delicious local seafood and smoked fish. It is so popular that many customers visit the buffet more than once before their main course!

Cinema & Supper Club - The Commitments

Supper in the Grainstore from 7pm - Screening of The Commitments (1991) at 8pm on Friday 14 March - St. Patrick's Weekend. Welcome to our new monthly film series that will combine a casual offering of quality Ballymaloe food paired with a quality film. From 7pm we'll be offering a blackboard menu served from the bar in the Grainstore. Choose from among soup, sandwiches, charcuterie, cheese boards and dessert, order a drink, and take a seat. We'll be set up cabaret style, making for a convivial evening.

This night out is a great opportunity for chefs and food enthusiasts to meet and get to know each other. With food ideas flowing this it’s a great time for networking. Ring in the New Year at Ballymaloe

New Years Eve is always a special time here at Ballymaloe and this year will have the added celebration of Ballymaloe celebrating 50 years in business. Our New Years Eve celebrations include our annual black tie dinner. This is a five course meal served in the different dining rooms at Ballymaloe House. Guests are welcomed with a festive drink. After dinner guests are invited to enjoy some live music in the drawing room or some livelier entertainment with a DJ in the conservatory.
