We are delighted to welcome him back with Silent as well as his other acclaimed solo show, Forgotten.

Supper Club Suppliers Night

This Tuesday, December 10th we will be holding an evening highlighting and celebrating our local suppliers. 6 suppliers will be attending the supper and the meal will highlight their produce and knowledge. Suppliers on the night will include:

Tuesdays with Morrie

Due to popular demand, the most successful theatrical production to emerge in Ireland in the last two years makes a very welcome return to the Ballymaloe Grainstore. Tickets available at €24. Supper Club Spice Trail Night with Sunil Ghai

We look forward to welcoming guest Chef Sunil Ghai who is not only the foremost Indian chef in Ireland, but Food & Wine’s Chef of the Year 2009 to Ballymaloe House next Tuesday evening the 26th of November. Sunil is the Executive Chef at Ananda Resturaunt in Dublin, he regularly spends time working with the team at Benares in London under renowned Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar.

Downton Abbey Supper Club

It was like stepping back in time… But in a good way!... The hand printed wallpapers illuminated by candlelit... The silverware overflowing with perfectly ripe fruit… The ladies donned their finest pearls and the gents their bow ties…. And the food was simply delicious. The first ever Ballymaloe House Supper Club took place on Tuesday night. It was soiree like no other. The Downton Abbey theme gave guests the opportunity to dress like lords and ladies while the kitchen produces a menu that captured the best of post Edwardian life.

Ballymaloe Craft & Design Festival 2014 is a great success!

The 4th annual Craft & Design festival took place in the grounds of Ballymloe Country House over the weekend. There were over 100 stalls on show where you could browse stalls ranging from ceramics to candle makers to basket weavers with a lot of tasty treats in between! We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended, volunteered and exhibited, you all contributed to make the weekend such a great success!

Frankenstein - Screening

This Halloween night at the Grainstore we are screening the sensational production of "Frankenstein" by the National Theatre of London It's both trick and treat at Ballymaloe Grainstore on Halloween Night, Thursday 31 October. The technological trick is presenting FRANKENSTEIN, which was recorded live on the stage of the National Theatre of London. Starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller, who jointly won the 2012 Olivier Award for Best Actor, the 'monster hit' will be shown on a cinema size screen in the Grainstore at 8pm. Tickets are €10.
