25th Cork French Festival

Candlelit supper with live 1960s French pop music and screening of Jean-Luc Godard's Le Mepris (France, 1964). A screenwriter finds his marriage falling apart as he attempts to get started on a film version of The Odyssey. Godard's sublime epic stars Michel Picolii and Brigitte Bardot. Cinema & Supper Club - The Commitments

Supper in the Grainstore from 7pm - Screening of The Commitments (1991) at 8pm on Friday 14 March - St. Patrick's Weekend. Welcome to our new monthly film series that will combine a casual offering of quality Ballymaloe food paired with a quality film. From 7pm we'll be offering a blackboard menu served from the bar in the Grainstore. Choose from among soup, sandwiches, charcuterie, cheese boards and dessert, order a drink, and take a seat. We'll be set up cabaret style, making for a convivial evening.

Supper Club : Chef's Night Out!

This night out is a great opportunity for chefs and food enthusiasts to meet and get to know each other. With food ideas flowing this it’s a great time for networking. Many restaurants are closed on Mondays on Tuesday nights throughout the winter months, which makes it the perfect opportunity for Chefs to head out for a pre-Christmas get together!

Ring in the New Year at Ballymaloe

New Years Eve is always a special time here at Ballymaloe and this year will have the added celebration of Ballymaloe celebrating 50 years in business. Our New Years Eve celebrations include our annual black tie dinner. This is a five course meal served in the different dining rooms at Ballymaloe House. Guests are welcomed with a festive drink. After dinner guests are invited to enjoy some live music in the drawing room or some livelier entertainment with a DJ in the conservatory.

Their festive Christmas-themed is the perfect prelude to December 25th.

We are delighted to welcome him back with Silent as well as his other acclaimed solo show, Forgotten.

Tuesdays with Morrie

Due to popular demand, the most successful theatrical production to emerge in Ireland in the last two years makes a very welcome return to the Ballymaloe Grainstore. Tickets available at €24. Supper Club Spice Trail Night with Sunil Ghai

We look forward to welcoming guest Chef Sunil Ghai who is not only the foremost Indian chef in Ireland, but Food & Wine’s Chef of the Year 2009 to Ballymaloe House next Tuesday evening the 26th of November. Sunil is the Executive Chef at Ananda Resturaunt in Dublin, he regularly spends time working with the team at Benares in London under renowned Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar.
