Ballymaloe is delighted to sponsor the Ballycotton Lifeboats’ annual Gala Fundraising dinner, and for 2015 Ballymaloe will be hosting a Pre-Valentines Casino Gala Dinner on Friday 6th February 2015 on behalf of the Ballycotton Lifeboat Fundraising committee.
Our Ballycotton lifeboat and the RNLI is a vital part of all our community, as well as being very important to the Allen family personally. Mr & Mrs Allen even met at a Ballycotton Lifeboat dinner in Ballymaloe House prior to owning Ballymaloe House and hosting these dinners themselves. Many of the Allen family presently enjoy the coast through fishing, windsurfing and kitesurfing safe in the knowledge that the Ballycotton Lifeboat is there to help should they encounter trouble and family member Rupert Hugh-Jones even joined the crew as a volunteer on the Ballycotton Lifeboat.
It is therefore extremely important and a privilege for everyone here at Ballymaloe House to support this incredible local charity and help raise as many funds as possible to enable our local RNLI crew to carry out their excellent voluntary work.
Tickets are now on sale (and would make a great Christmas gift) for the annual Ballycotton Lifeboat Fundraising Gala Dinner.
The evening will begin with cocktails courtesy of Matson's wines, followed by a superb Ballymaloe menu carefully written prepared by our chefs especially for the night. Live music by Jazz Trio Perfidia, table magic entertainment, late Casino in the Yeats room (some gambling chips included in the ticket price) and Trad music in the Drawing room. There will be a ticket draw and generously sponsored spot prizes throughout the night and small goody bags for everyone thanks to generous lifeboat supporters.
If last year was anything to go by, it will be an extraordinary night of fun, delicious food, fun casino action and great company and all for an exceptionally good cause.
The Ballycotton RNLI are a voluntary team of brave men and women who give their time and effort and sometimes risk their own lives to keep our coastline safe. The Ballycotton Lifeboat Fundraising Committee have hosted their Annual Gala Dinner with us for over 30 years and in support of the excellent work they do, we are also offering an overnight special rate for this event, for details and to book 'click here'.
The evening is a Black Tie event and numbers are restricted due to tables, so please call Fiona the Ballycotton Lifeboat Fundraising Chairwoman on (086) 882 4515 to secure your place and avoid disappointment.
