Ingredients:

  • 110g / 4 oz / 1 cup brown flour
  • 110g / 4 oz / 1 cup white flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 30g / 1oz / 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp cream
  • water as needed 

For approx. 16 biscuits.

The Method:

Mix flours, salt and baking powder together. 

Rub in butter. 

Moisten with cream and enough water to make a firm dough. Roll out 3 mm / 1/8 inch thick approx.  Cut with a 2 inch round cutter. Prick. Bake at 180C / 350F / Regulo 4 until lightly browned.
