A Celebration of Burgundy wine

at Ballymaloe House Hotel

On October 17th, we will host an exclusive Burgundy wine dinner in partnership with Tindal Wines. This exclusive event will take you on a journey through Burgundy's rich, diverse flavours, featuring carefully selected wines paired with an exquisite five-course menu prepared by Executive Chef, Dervilla O'Flynn and her team. Our signature farm-to-table menu will showcase locally sourced produce, such as Rossmore Oysters, Ballycotton Fish, Ballymaloe Farm Pork, Cork cheeses, and the famous dessert trolley. 

Our guest wine expert, Harriet Tindal MW, Director of Fine Wine at Tindal Wines and one of only 409 Masters of Wine globally, will offer captivating insights into the relationship between terroir, soil health, and wine quality. Drawing from her extensive knowledge and passion, Harriet will share stories from her vineyard visits and her journey to becoming a Master of Wine, enriching the evening with her unique perspective. 

Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Dominique Gruhier Crémant de Bourgogne, Blanc de Blancs, a sparkling wine that embodies the elegance and finesse of Burgundy’s renowned sparkling varietals. This bright and generous Crémant will set the tone for the evening ahead. 

Throughout the dinner, each course will be expertly paired with a selection of Burgundy’s finest wines, including Louis Michel Vaudésirs Grand Cru 2019, Louis Michel Vaudésirs Grand Cru 2020 and Thibault Liger-Belair Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Belles Croix 2021.
